Hippity Hoppity Easter's on Its Way
Not since we convinced Lynne Fortin to sell her stained glass to Different Drummer have we been so excited for something new! We took a chance and brought in some speciality gourmet chocolates for the Easter season. Lake Champlain Chocolates is a family owned business from Burlington Vermont. Established in 1983, they have been making and selling mouthwatering chocolates made from Vermont local and Fair Trade ingredients. The New York Times raves "some of the best chocolates in the country" and they have been the winner of two Good Food awards. They have special designs for every season, looking forward to salted caramel flowers in April.
What's with all the discounts?!
We are either crazy or just going through some serious growing pains.....Like a caterpillar to a butterfly, a tadpole to a frog, a truck to a robot or we're just doing some intense spring cleaning-Different Drummer needs a fresh start.
A mere month away from our annual sale, we're having a sale! There is an remarkable amount of clearance items in the shop right now, (not to mention the daylight savings sale). We have Trollbeads for $10!, jewelry galore, beautiful pottery pieces, chimes and fun novelty items.
Do you know someone who NEEDS this? Our mailman looks particularly ravishing, I mean grumpy, in this scarf. We also have fingerless gloves, boot liners and winter headbands for those last few cold days of the season.
All of our beautiful beach glass jewelry is marked down as is our collection of J&I jewels. There are pearls, colorful beads, sterling and fine silver letter pendants, sparkles, and one-of-a-kind pieces all ready to find a special home. All of these beautiful treasures are 50% off through the month of March.
Why not spring forward in Wickford?
And then WOW! there's this! Many of you got to enjoy some early morning donuts and coffee back in November-well, we're doing it again..... Rachel and Amelia will be here with breakfast snacks and discounts, bright and early on March 11th!
