1 ⅛” wampum earrings in sterling silver Navajo setting.
This beautifully handcrafted jewelry is made of wampum, the purple and white cut shell of the quahog. Quahogs are native to Narragansett Bay and Long Island Sound. Regional Native Americans cut this hard shell into beads to string for personal decoration as well as a means of trade or money. This contemporary version is crafted by Gary Pond. All wampum jewelry is tax-free.
